It has been a couple of days since my last post. And after some time to think, some good beer, a decent amount of playful banter, and a few city proper trips, I am beginning to have a sense of the city. While I’ve been here, I have experienced the generosity of spirit, compelling beauty and remarkable sophistication of a people who consistently bring a smile despite the oppressive weather and whose sharp sense of humor can lighten a room. Exploring London has rekindled my love of traveling; visiting this place with the amazing mixture of beautiful spirits either residing or visiting here has reminded me of just how awesome this world can be.

Since my last post I’ve seen a performance at the Royal Albert Hall from a box just seats away from the Royal box. I’ve experienced a portion of the beat infused night life; I’ve eaten some Fish ‘n Chips from a Christmas market; I’ve also tried a mysterious French sandwich from a market; and, I’ve been on a hop on, hop off tour of the city getting a look at most of the major landmarks.

I just have a couple days remaining. I plan to make the most of them.
